Ideal Candidate:

We are seeking skilled bartenders with 3+ years of experience to join our team. This role includes working in our casino bars and events, with some barback duties as needed. Candidates must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and be consistently punctual. Night and weekend availability is required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Depending on experience, the essential duties, responsibilities, points of service and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) outlined below may be taught and demonstrated during the Bartender training process.

? Reports directly to the Beverage Supervisor.

  • ? Requires dependable and punctual attendance and flexibility with scheduled shifts.
  • ? Requires working weekends, holidays, special events and attending mandatory meetings

? Interact positively and effectively with guest and co-workers

? Provides prompt, courteous and efficient service to all guests

? Ability to promptly serve multiple beverage orders at one time

? Requires dependable, punctual attendance and be willing to work flexible hours and attend mandatory meetings

? Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks

? Take drink orders and process accurate POS transactions

? Keep bar station stocked, clean and organized at all times

? ID guests for legal age

? Make recommendations and answer all related inquires

? Assist Cocktail servers in preparing drink orders

? Adhere to all Company Policies and Departmental SOPs

? Keep work area in compliance with all health regulations and gaming regulations

? All other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

? Strong guest service skills

? Strong English verbal and written communication skills

? Knowledge of standard drink recipes

? Knowledge of spirits, wine and beer

? Knowledge of bar equipment

? Knowledge of health regulations

? Comply with Federal and State liquor laws

? Ability to follow directions from Company Management

? Ability to follow directions and procedures

? Strong organizational skills

? TIPS or TEAMS or Equivalent Certification

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or equivalent.

A minimum of 6 months' experience working in a Bar environment preferred.

Knowledge and ability to operate POS cashiering systems.

AGE AND CERTIFICATIONS:

21 years of age or above.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and understand a variety of instructions in English

Fluency in English required.

Ability to communicate in Spanish a plus.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Basic Math skills.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply commonsense judgement to complete a variety of tasks as assigned

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the Employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, see and hear. The employee is also regularly required to stand and/or walk for long periods at a time. The employee is regularly required to reach and lift with hands and arms, and occasionally required to climb or stoop. Employee must be able to lift, carry and push objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an Employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. When on the casino floor or other designated areas may be subjected to tobacco smoke.

Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, employees must be able to work varying-schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.

The Bartender is responsible for creating a friendly and professional atmosphere for both Guests and Employees while preparing cocktails and other beverages for our Guests as well as performing other duties as described below.
