Catering & Kitchen Specialist

Longhorn Barbecue is looking for a dependable, skilled, and motivated team member to serve in multiple roles including Line Cooks, Catering Leads and Mobile Truck Specialist. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, but also has strong leadership and organizational skills to oversee catered events both on- and off-site. You'll play a key part in daily kitchen operations while also leading the execution of high-quality catering experiences for our guests.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and cook BBQ dishes according to recipes and standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
• Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met
• Serve customers with friendly and efficient service
• Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies
• Support the team in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere
• Handle cash register and billing as needed
• Plan and coordinate catering events from start to finish
• Supervise catering staff and delegate responsibilities effectively
• Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained
• Liaise with clients to understand their needs and customize menus accordingly
• Oversee set-up, service, and breakdown of catering events
• Manage inventory and supplies for catering operations
• Maintain records of orders, expenses, and feedback
• Ensure timely delivery and presentation of catering services
• Supervise daily operations of the food truck
• Prepare and serve food according to quality standards
• Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the truck and equipment
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Train and lead team members
• Handle customer interactions and feedback
• Schedule maintenance and repairs for the truck

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in grilling or barbecue preparation preferred
• Strong work ethic and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of food safety standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Valid drivers license

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
