Warehouse Associate

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Distribution Manager, the Warehouse Associate ensures that parts and or products are picked and packed for delivery to ICEE customers. Warehouse associates on a daily basis will use an electric pallet jack or boxing up a parts order. Supports the Distribution Manager and Distribution Leads in a positive and accountable way and represent The ICEE company in a professional and courteous manner.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Pick orders
• Operate a pallet jack
• Prep, box and palletize for shipment
• Unload/load incoming and outgoing trucks
• Maintain work area and general upkeep of warehouse/office facility

To perform this job successfully, the Warehouseman must be self-motivated and have the ability to stay on task with minimal to no supervision. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Customer relations, interpersonal relationships, team relations and service-oriented
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Must be a self-starter and be able to accomplish tasks in a timely manner
• Great oral and written communication skills
• Must be comfortable performing basic mathematical functions as well

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Must possess and maintain a valid Real-ID Driver's License.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs. or more on a regular basis. Occasional lifting in excess of 75 lbs. required
• Minimum of two (2) years warehouse and/or customer service experience
• Forklift certification a plus
• Ability to pass a background check
• Must have steel-toed shoes (ICEE provides uniforms)

Pay from $20/hour - Pay is commensurate with experience, education, skills, training, and certifications.
