Truck Driver Class A CDL

· Operate and care for equipment and comply with all of the laws governing operation of a motor vehicle.

· Drive semi-truck loaded at stated capacities.

· Deliver and return in-process parts to and from vendors (2-5 drops per day, average 300 miles per day).

· Deliver finished parts to customers as necessary.

· Supervise loading and unloading of truck to ensure that it is done safely, and the load is protected against damage.

· Load and unload trucks as needed, safely and efficiently.

• Properly perform all related paperwork/computer responsibilities for receiving or shipping a load.

· Keep vehicles interior and exterior clean and orderly,

· Check equipment per maintenance checklists, perform minor maintenance and complete Driver's Daily Log.

· Comply with company procedures to ensure accuracy of pickups and deliveries.

· Keep the Materials Supervisor informed of all information on pickups, deliveries and truck problems.

· Comply with the procedures and policies of the customer/supplier/vendor that you are on location with.

· Act as a positive representative of BSP when on the road and on location with our customers/suppliers/vendors.

· Perform all assigned shipping and receiving duties in our facility as needed.

· Maintain a valid Commercial Driver's License.

· Immediately report any driving violations (work related, AND non-work related) to your supervisor and the safety administrator.

· Maintain a current Hi-Lo license.

• Maintain compliance with company policy, health and safety issues.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education & Skills Required:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
• Must have and maintain a valid Commercial Driver's License.
• Minimum 5-year CDL driving experience required.
• Minimum 1-year factory related experience preferred.
• Minimum 1-years hi-lo experience preferred.
• Experience driving a manual transmission vehicle.
• Must have and maintain a clean driving record.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, required.
• Strong time management and independent work skills.

Physical Demands:

• Exposure to industry accepted chemicals, and noise.
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs. unassisted and 75 lbs. assisted.
• Regularly required to stand, reach, bend, push, pull and move about the facility.
• All weather driving.
• Sitting for extended periods of time.
• Must maintain a current certified DOT Physical.
• Must pass random DOT drug testing.
• Start time 6am, 8 to 10 hour shift.
