Practice Area: Advisory Digital

KPMG is currently seeking a Manager - Data Strategist, Financial Services & Deal Advisory Strategy for a twelve-month rotation to join our Advisory Digital organization.

Responsibilities
Collaborate strategically with senior leadership within the firm to translate business needs into data, analytics, and AI requirements

Lead a small, high-performing team both on-shore and off-shore, to ensure quality and timely delivery of various use cases

Develop analyses to generate benchmarks, actionable insights, and corporate strategy recommendations, leveraging third-party data to support go-to-market efforts and delivery model transformation

Conduct in-depth market, industry, and competitive research, translating findings into strategic insights, reports, and thought leadership content

Foster and maintain relationships with executive leadership in ADO and KPMG US to ensure critical strategic staffing, budgeting, data, and analytic needs are appropriately addressed

Support the maturation of the program by identifying areas for process improvement and contributing to strategic internal/structuring improvement project

Qualifications
Minimum five years of recent experience related to strategic program management, financial services, data analysis, corporate strategy, or applied analytics, preferably within a Consulting or Deal Advisory context

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university; master's degree and/or certifications are a plus

Experience identifying opportunities for advanced analytics use cases, building use cases to prove out value and justify investment, and using data to convey findings to various audiences (C-suite, white papers), and analytical and BI tools like Alteryx, Power BI

Demonstrated ability to engage and partner with senior stakeholders across a large organization, with strong analytical, creative problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting, managing various stakeholders and use cases concurrently across diverse industries and KPMG service portfolios, and overseeing daily operations of a small data and analytics team, offering prompt feedback for staff development within the firm

Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships with and effectively communicate complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences across all levels of the organization
