Generative AI Engineer – Enterprise Value Creation

With up to 75% on-site immersion, you'll assess GenAI readiness—identifying opportunities like automated report generation or synthetic data for scarce training sets—and deliver secure, scalable solutions that boost productivity by 30-50%, translating to $20M+ in unlocked value through faster due diligence or enhanced customer engagement.

Core to the role is architecting retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems, fine-tuning open-weight LLMs (Llama-3, Mistral), and building custom pipelines with LangChain/LlamaIndex for private-cloud environments (e.g., Azure OpenAI, self-hosted via vLLM). You'll handle vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS), prompt chaining for multi-step reasoning, and evaluation frameworks (ROUGE, human-in-loop feedback) to ensure outputs are hallucination-free and aligned with business context. Partnering with legal/compliance teams, you'll embed safeguards for IP protection and bias detection, while quantifying success via adoption metrics and A/B tests presented to PE oversight groups. This is for battle-tested engineers who have scaled GenAI from POC to enterprise, fostering cultural shifts in AI literacy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead GenAI strategy sessions, crafting 2-year roadmaps tied to portco goals (e.g., 40% faster FP&A reporting).
• Engineer end-to-end systems: data ingestion, model orchestration, API gateways, and UI integrations (Streamlit/Gradio).
• Optimize for cost/efficiency: quantization, distillation, and inference on GPU clusters.
• Facilitate vendor selections (e.g., Anthropic vs. open-source) and pilot rollouts with change management.
• Document architectures and train users, ensuring 80%+ sustained adoption post-launch.

Required Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in AI/CS; 4+ years in GenAI, with production deployments yielding measurable ROI.
• Deep expertise in Transformers, Hugging Face, LoRA/PEFT for fine-tuning, and secure serving (Guardrails AI).
• Experience in regulated sectors, with focus on auditable, low-bias outputs.
• Strong Python/DevOps skills (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform).
