Job Summary

The Jr. Data Analyst will function as the liaison between the technical and internal/external teams & clientele reviewing, analyzing, evaluating and documenting business data regarding customer operations. Create, present and document reports and dashboards to present, explain and review analysis/findings with team members and client personnel. Utilize SQL Server, PowerBI, Tableau, MS Excel, and SQL queries to analyze, visualize and present data. The ideal person for this job possesses technical skills to generate necessary reports/dashboards and present interpretations of data to upper management in a clear concise manner.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Must be bilingual in English and Spanish (written, verbal, reading)
  • 0-1 year experience with BI technologies (e.g. Microsoft Power BI, Tableau Software)
  • Strong understanding of MS Excel functions
  • Previous experience with SQL Server database and SQL queries is required
  • Produce business requirements and obtain necessary approvals from stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Perform data analysis to interpret results of reports and findings in data while building visualizations and reports for requested projects using PowerBI and Tableau.
  • Work with cross functional teams to provide support to Customer Operations Team to guarantee that the accurate data is effectively processed and analyzed to understand business needs, customer behavior, and maintain key essential metrics.
  • Create reports and dashboards and present findings/interpretations of data to executives detailing impact on business in order to assist with making strategic business decisions.
  • Build effective business cases using analytical software and tools including the development of financial and quantitative models.
  • Explain and review analysis/findings with team members and client personnel.
  • Identify implications of proposed solutions on people, processes, technology, strategy, and structure while communicating and interacting regularly with the project manager and development team during different stages of the project.
