We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Floater Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties
- Assist lead teachers by implementing curriculum development strategies tailored to early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, social emotional skills, and more.
- Support classroom management and behavior management techniques to create a safe, nurturing environment conducive to learning and exploration.
- Engage with children through age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, early intervention, and social skills.
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring safety and promoting positive interactions among students.
- Contribute to child welfare by monitoring individual progress through informal assessments, providing feedback to lead teachers.
- Collaborate with team members on classroom experience enhancements.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings such as preschool, childcare, private schools, or early intervention programs.
- Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and classroom management techniques.
- Experience with curriculum development across multiple subjects including literacy education, math, social emotional skills, and more.
- Familiarity with supporting children with diverse learning needs.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, parents, and caregivers.
- Proven ability to adapt quickly across different classrooms and age groups while maintaining high standards of child welfare.
- Classroom experience and early childhood education certifications such as Credentials (EDU 119 Intro to Early Childhood Education) is highly desirable. Pay: $ $16.50 per hour
