Experienced Trailer Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Trailer Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in semi trailer repair, with the ability to work on various types of trailers and heavy equipment. This role requires hands-on experience in maintenance, repair, and fabrication, ensuring that all trailers operate safely and efficiently.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trailers, including brake repair and shock strut replacement.
• Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems and components.
• Fabricate parts as required to ensure optimal performance of trailers.
• Weld components together when necessary to enhance structural integrity.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.

Skills

• Proficient in repair techniques with a focus on trailer systems.
• Experience in welding and fabrication processes.
• Knowledgeable in shock struts, brake repair, and heavy equipment operation.
• Strong ability to perform automotive diagnostics effectively.
• Familiarity with industrial equipment maintenance practices.
• Ability to read and understand schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
• Must be a self starter, dependable to work without constant supervision.
• Clean Driving Record
