Salary: $40,000 + Profit Sharing + Annual Bonus

Arrow POS is a growing technology company supporting a proprietary point-of-sale platform used by customers nationwide. We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide front-line support in a structured, team-based environment.

This role is an excellent fit for National Guard or Reserve members (or those transitioning from military service) looking to build or continue a civilian IT career while maintaining predictable scheduling.

Schedule & Work Environment

  • On-site in Crown Point, IN
  • Rotating shifts covering 8:00 AM – 1:00 AM, 7 days per week
  • 8.5-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch
  • Guaranteed minimum of 3 daytime shifts per week
  • Remaining shifts scheduled as part of a structured rotation
  • Schedules are published at least two weeks in advance

What You'll Do

  • Provide first-level technical support for Arrow POS proprietary software
  • Troubleshoot software, hardware, and connectivity issues using documented procedures
  • Support customers remotely through a ticketing system
  • Accurately document issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions
  • Escalate complex issues clearly to development or advanced support teams
  • Stay current on product updates and contribute to process improvements

Full training on our systems and software is provided.

What You'll Bring

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to follow structured processes and maintain clear documentation
  • Clear communication skills with both technical and non-technical users
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and basic hardware/peripheral troubleshooting
  • Experience in military IT, Signal, Cyber, communications, or technical support roles is highly valued
  • IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, etc.) are a plus, not required

Experience Note:
Equivalent experience may include military technical roles, Guard or Reserve service, or civilian IT support experience.
