Location: Perth Amboy, NJ

Job Summary:

We seek a certified or experienced Medical Assistant (MA) to assist our providers in delivering exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, friendly, and committed to helping patients feel comfortable and well-cared for.

Responsibilities:

• Room patients, obtain vitals (BP, weight, pulse, etc.), and document medical history
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, and minor treatments
• Perform basic lab tests (e.g., blood draws, EKGs, urinalysis) and prepare specimens
• Administer medications/vaccines (as permitted by certification)
• Schedule appointments, manage referrals, and handle patient follow-ups
• Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
• Sterilize instruments and ensure exam rooms are stocked/sanitized
• Provide compassionate patient support and clear communication

Requirements:

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) preferred OR 1+ years of MA experience
• Knowledge of vital signs, phlebotomy, and clinical workflows
• Proficiency in EHR systems (experience with (specific system, if any) is a plus)
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Friendly, professional demeanor with a focus on patient care
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is required
