Wiley Petersen is seeking a full-time Nevada licensed Associate Attorney with an emphasis in Business Litigation and Defense Litigation to join our legal team. The ideal candidate must have 1 to 10 years' experience, a passion for law, and a desire to excel in a dynamic legal environment. Candidates should be ready and willing to work independently and under the supervision of the Managing Partners, be able to follow directions, and handle a full case load while maintaining all deadlines.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues;
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, written discovery, agreements and briefs;
- Provide support in courtroom proceedings;
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases;
- Provide legal advice to clients on a wide range of legal matters;
- Stay current on developments in the legal field and relevant practice areas;
- Assist in case management and preparation for depositions and trials
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Active member of the Nevada State Bar, in good standing.
- 1 year experience in Civil Litigation preferred
- Experience with Clio, LexisNexis, Westlaw, MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and other legal research tools;
- Experience in state and federal court with a strong understanding of the rules and procedures
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
