Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Private Chef to a traditional Thanksgiving meal. You can prep in home and come cook the food at the property. They also have family recipes replicated. For about 17 people maybe more or less. Grocery expenses would also be covered.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute personalized menus based on client preferences, dietary restrictions, and seasonal ingredients.
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure high-quality dining experiences.
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory control, food handling, and sanitation practices.
- Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate tasks to maintain an efficient workflow during meal preparation and service.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen environment.
- Plan and execute catering for special events, including banquets and private parties.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their culinary needs and provide exceptional hospitality.
- Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and manage ordering as necessary to ensure seamless operations.
Skills
- Proven experience in fine dining, catering, or restaurant management.
- Strong culinary skills with expertise in food preparation, cooking techniques, and menu planning.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling.
- Excellent leadership abilities with experience in team management and shift management.
- Familiarity with inventory management processes to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Ability to create diverse menus that cater to various dietary requirements.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and staff members.
