We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead, develop, and scale our sales force. This is a management-focused position responsible for sales performance, team leadership, process improvement, and revenue growth.

Position Overview

The Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire sales department at Gridiron Guys LLC. You will manage a team of sales representatives, provide coaching, conduct field training, track KPIs, and ensure your team follows a consistent and professional sales process.

Your primary mission is to build a high-performing sales culture—one that improves closing ratios, drives growth, and maintains the company's standards of integrity and customer satisfaction.

While light involvement in high-level estimates or complex jobs may occur, this position is primarily focused on management, coaching, and accountability, not individual sales quotas.

Key Leadership Responsibilities

_ Team Management & Coaching _

· Lead and supervise the sales team, including hiring, onboarding, and performance management

· Organize and lead weekly sales meetings with the team.

· Conduct regular 1:1 coaching sessions, performance reviews, and skill assessments

· Provide ongoing field training and mentorship during inspections, presentations, and customer interactions

· Establish clear KPIs and hold team members accountable to company standards

· Provide training for the sales team in preparation for construction trade shows as well as onsite training.

· Work with the team to build out regular sales and/or deals that would help sell jobs

_ Process, Strategy, & Execution_

· Implement and enforce the company's structured sales process

· Track sales metrics, pipeline health, and individual performance using CRM tools

· Develop strategies to increase close rates, revenue, and team productivity

· Collaborate with marketing to optimize lead flow and conversion

· Ensure accurate job scoping and seamless communication with the production team

_ Operational Oversight_

· Review estimates and proposals for accuracy before submission

· Collaborate with the team to ensure a positive customer experience

· Resolve escalated customer concerns professionally and efficiently

· Provide executive leadership with weekly and monthly performance reports

· Support long-term planning and contribute to growth strategy

Qualifications

· 5+ years of construction or exterior remodeling experience

· 2+ years of experience managing a sales team (required)

· Solid understanding of roofing, siding, gutters, or general exterior construction

· Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and improve team performance

· Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities

· Experience with metrics-driven management and CRM systems

· Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Schedule

· Monday–Friday

· Occasional weekends as needed for team support or special events such as trade show

Pay: $100, $150,000.00 per year
