Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, extensive knowledge of property management regulations, and exceptional customer service abilities. This role involves managing leasing processes, ensuring property maintenance, and maintaining compliance with legal and Fair Housing regulations. The Property Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, vendors, and ownership, ensuring smooth property operations and tenant satisfaction.
Duties
- Manage property leasing activities, including marketing vacancies, conducting tours, and negotiating lease agreements utilizing tools like Yardi and OneSite.
- Ensure compliance with LIHTC, Section 8, Fair Housing laws, and other relevant regulations.
- Oversee property maintenance requests and coordinate repairs through facilities management systems such as CMMS.
- Handle tenant relations, resolve conflicts effectively, and enforce lease agreements in accordance with landlord-tenant law.
- Maintain accurate records related to contracts, legal documentation, data entry, filing, and property management activities.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure properties meet safety standards and quality expectations.
- Manage rent collection processes and oversee upselling opportunities for additional services or amenities.
- Collaborate with leasing agents to maximize occupancy rates through effective customer relationship management and sales strategies.
- Prepare reports on property performance, occupancy rates, and maintenance issues for ownership review.
- Stay updated on legal administrative requirements related to real estate management and administrative experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience in property management or real estate administration with familiarity in office experience and data entry.
- Strong knowledge of LIHTC programs, Section 8 housing policies, Fair Housing regulations, landlord-tenant law, contracts, and legal administrative procedures.
- Proficiency with property management software such as Yardi, OneSite, or similar platforms; experience with CMMS is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and conflict management abilities.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills for lease agreements and contract discussions.
- Ability to handle property maintenance coordination efficiently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills including filing systems and office administration tasks such as data entry and record keeping.
- Valid experience in facilities management or real estate administrative roles is preferred. This position offers an opportunity to lead property operations effectively while ensuring tenant satisfaction within a dynamic environment that values professionalism and compliance.

Pay: $85, $95,000.00 per year
