Job Summary:
This position serves as the primary technical NetSuite Systems Administrator for DOWC's Oracle NetSuite ERP system. This individual will partner with IT, Accounting, and Data teams to enhance efficiency, strengthen data governance, and ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory standards. Responsibilities include overseeing quarterly NetSuite updates, managing system integration, administering roles and permissions. Success in this position requires a strong understanding of NetSuite core system functionality, financial workflows, internal controls, automation, and compliance frameworks (JSOX), along with the technical expertise to configure, secure, and optimize NetSuite workflows, scripts, roles, and integrations.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain NetSuite roles, permissions, workflows, dashboards, and reports to support business operations and financial processes.
- Lead quarterly NetSuite updates, performing impact analysis, testing, and deployment with cross-functional teams.
- Enhance automation in core financial workflows to gain maximum efficiencies for the accounting team.
- Explore and implement AI-driven tools to improve reporting and business insights.
- Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, workflows, and procedures, and provide training to end users.
- Maintain integrations through NSIP (NetSuite integration tool)/SuiteConnect.
- Ability to configure and customize NetSuite Centers.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting or related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of overall experience in ERP system management.
- Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience with NetSuite administration.
- NetSuite Administrator or SuiteFoundation Certificate highly preferred.
- Proven track record of leading system implementations and cross-functional financial technology initiatives.
- Must have an understanding of Finance and Accounting processes (GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assests, Inventory, etc.)
- Proficient in other financial ERP systems such as QuickBooks and business intelligence tools such as PowerBI.
- Strong understanding of NetSuite data model and entity relationships.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, relational databases, and integration tools/APIs.
- Advanced Excel and reporting capabilities, including pivot tables, lookups, and financial modeling.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate technical information for nontechnical users.
- Excellent problem-solving, project management, and time management abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong experience in SuiteAnalytics
- Deep experience in NetSuite workflows, custom fields, security roles and permissions
- Hands on experience with integration tools and APIs including loading from flat files (i.e. csv files)
- Hands on experience writing advanced NetSuite scripts
- Strong knowledge of SuiteBuilder, SuiteFlow, Saved Searches, Reports, and Dashboards.
- Experience managing roles, permissions, and system security configurations.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting workflows, scripts, and system processes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, must be able to communicate effectively to internal teams.
