Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest services. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming environment and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience. Your ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining excellent customer service will be key to your success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel welcomed.
  • Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently, including handling reservations and guest inquiries.
  • Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
  • Handle guest requests and complaints with professionalism, ensuring prompt resolution to maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Operate multi-line phone systems effectively, responding to calls in a timely manner while maintaining phone etiquette.
  • Perform night audit duties as required, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions and reporting.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure that guest rooms and public areas are well-maintained.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including managing correspondence and maintaining records.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hotel management or front desk operations is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to a diverse clientele.
  • Knowledge of hospitality management principles is an asset.
  • Familiarity with night audit procedures is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in phone etiquette.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed in the hospitality industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
