Position Overview

The Program Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the smooth planning, coordination, and execution of EWELH's programs and initiatives. This individual will oversee daily program operations, support participants and facilitators, manage documentation and reporting, and assist with program evaluation and communication. The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to EWELH's mission of empowering women and strengthening families.

Key Responsibilities

Program Operations & Implementation

  • Coordinate and support EWELH programs such as the G.S. Financial Academy, JOY: Just Own Yourself, Right on Time, and other empowerment and housing initiatives.
  • Schedule and organize program activities, workshops, and community events.
  • Communicate logistics to participants, volunteers, and facilitators.
  • Track participant enrollment, attendance, and completion data.
  • Maintain accurate program records and ensure timely reporting of outcomes.

Participant Support

  • Serve as the primary contact for program participants, responding to inquiries and providing ongoing support.
  • Ensure participants receive all necessary materials and resources before sessions.
  • Monitor participant progress and follow up to promote engagement and success.

Administrative & Reporting

  • Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing program data for reports and impact summaries.
  • Maintain documentation for grants, funding reports, and donor communications.
  • Support program evaluations by gathering participant feedback and success stories.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with the CEO and program team to ensure alignment with EWELH's mission and goals.
  • Collaborate with external partners, facilitators, and community organizations to enhance program reach.
  • Assist with marketing and outreach efforts, including email communication, social media updates, and community engagement.

Qualifications

  • Human Services, Education, Nonprofit Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in program coordination or nonprofit work.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and online meeting platforms (Zoom, Canva, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Passionate about women's empowerment and community development.
