Outside Sales Executive - Chattanooga, TN

Prestige is growing and looking for motivated professionals who enjoy blending technical knowledge with relationship-driven sales. This role is ideal for individuals with an engineering or industrial background who want to apply their expertise in a customer-facing, solution-oriented sales position.

As an Outside Sales Executive, you'll become deeply familiar with Prestige's storage and material handling solutions and play a hands-on role throughout the lifecycle of each project — from initial site visit through installation. You'll be responsible for building new customer relationships while expanding and supporting existing accounts.

The Job:

  • Develop a strong working knowledge of material handling systems and Prestige's full range of products and services
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers at key customer accounts
  • Conduct on-site evaluations to understand customer operations and recommend effective solutions
  • Gather field data to support layout concepts and preliminary drawings
  • Collaborate with internal teams to translate site findings into proposals and project plans
  • Stay engaged with projects from order placement through final installation
  • Partner with marketing and leadership to improve CRM tools and sales processes
  • Provide regular updates to management on pipeline activity, schedules, and wins

Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field with 4+ years of professional experience
  • Background in outside sales within an industrial or equipment-focused environment preferred
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Interest in learning technical systems and explaining complex solutions clearly
  • Ability to manage time effectively across travel, site visits, and follow-ups
  • Comfortable reporting progress and results to leadership
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD experience a plus
