Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

A COTA works under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality therapy services to patients in schools, skilled nursing facilities, and our outpatient clinic.

NEO Orthopedics and Rehabilitation provides Physical, Occupational, Speech and ABA Therapy services in settings including outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities and schools. Our dedicated team strives to improve the lives of the people we touch

1. Patient Care:

• Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans.

• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve daily living and work skills.

• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatments as needed.

2. Collaboration and Communication:

• Work collaboratively with Occupational Therapists, other healthcare professionals, school staff, and family members.

• Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and team members to ensure comprehensive care.

3. Administrative Duties:

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards.

4. Professional Development:

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
• Stay current with best practices and advancements in occupational therapy.

• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current state licensure and certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
