Duties

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced tools to identify issues accurately.
• Repair and maintain various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, alignments, shocks & struts, and powertrain systems.
• Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and suspension repairs to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for repairs such as welding, auto body work, and component replacements.
• Service diesel engines and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) to meet modern vehicle demands.
• Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical and mechanical problems.
• Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating tasks, and communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs.

Skills

• Proven dealership or automotive repair experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of ADAS calibration, air brake systems, GM vehicles (or similar brands), and diesel engine repair techniques.
• Mechanical expertise in transmissions, powertrain components, wheel alignments, suspension systems, shocks & struts, brake repair, and tire service.
• Proficiency with schematics interpretation and the use of diagnostic software to troubleshoot automotive electrical issues.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools for various repair tasks including welding and auto body repairs.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of safety and quality in automotive service.
