Branch Manager

Title: Branch Manager Job Type:  Salary  Exempt

Department:  Administration Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Reports To: Vice President of Construction

SUMMARY

The Branch Manager is responsible for supporting and driving all aspects of the branch operations (service, parts, rentals, and all administrative/operational processes) daily and driving the overall gross profit/profitability while building a sustainable customer centric organization.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, communicate and execute a branch strategy that will achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual branch objectives/metrics
  • Ensures the satisfactory completion of the day to day operations of the branch to include service, parts, rentals, and administrative processes
  • Builds work relationships with staff to maintain a high level of customer service and support in a positive team oriented environment.
  • Ability to analyze and use operational information to create positive actions and results.
  • Maintains thorough knowledge of market trends and conditions.
  • Drive individual performance within the branch by developing measurable goals, defined processes, and accountability through coaching and ongoing performance management
  • Staffs accordingly to meet operational and strategic needs
  • Creates improved interdepartmental communication and processes with the branch to support sales growth
  • Demonstrates the ability to form positive customer relationships through problem resolution, customer visits, etc.
  • P & L Accountability to include controlling expenses, loss time, identifying areas of improvement and maximizing profitability to forecast/budget  
  • Strives for constant improvement and development of the branch by researching and developing new techniques and procedures to increase overall efficiency of operations
  • Communicate, comply, and impose employee compliance with all company policies and procedures including safety, accident reporting, and employee handbook guidelines
  • Qualifications

    Education/Additional Requirements

    The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated passion for customer service, strong organizational skills, and a desire for continued growth within the role.  Must be dependable and reliable in addition to

  • 3 to 5 years of management and/or leadership experience within the heavy equipment, construction, or other related industry
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D required,  Bachelor's degree highly desired
  • Management and/or Leadership experience required
  • Experience in managing a P&L
  • Ability to multitask effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to problem solve
  • Ability to meet processing deadlines and prioritize work
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to be resourceful
  • Proficient with Outlook, MS Word and Excel and the ability to learn internal systems
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
