Duties

• Assist in meal preparation and cooking, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
• Plan and develop menus that cater to diverse dietary needs while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Prepare and serve meals in accordance with established guidelines, focusing on presentation and taste.
• Handle food items safely, ensuring proper storage and sanitation practices are followed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain an organized and efficient kitchen environment.
• Participate in catering events, providing excellent service and support during meal service.
• Utilize knife skills effectively for food preparation, ensuring precision and safety.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas to uphold health regulations.

Skills

• Proven experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is preferred.
• Strong background in menu planning and fine dining experience is advantageous.
• Proficient in food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food handling practices.
• Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of culinary principles and food safety regulations is essential.
• Excellent knife skills with the ability to prepare a variety of ingredients efficiently.
• Experience in catering services is a plus, along with strong serving skills.
