Medical Assistant

Integrative Health Matters is growing and looking to hire a full-time medical assistant. IHM has a position available for an individual who has excellent clinical skills, is focused on the whole patient, and has a compassionate approach to caring for patients.

Integrative Health Matters is a functional medicine clinic focusing on the root cause of symptoms. Paired with conventional medicine, IHM uses specialized tests and extensive study of a patients' entire health history to get to the root-cause of symptoms. Instead of only prescribing medication to treat symptoms, IHM uses a personalized treatment plan to heal the whole body through a variety of approaches.

Requirements:

• Certified Medical Assistant
• At least 1 year of experience working in a clinical setting
• Phlebotomy experience
• Ability to obtain vital signs and medical history
• Excellent communicator
• Team player
• Focused and ability to multi-task

• Able to contribute to a positive work environment

• Job description:

• Prepare patients for office visits and procedures
• Obtain specimens for lab testing (i.e. blood, urine)
• Accurately process lab samples for testing and shipping
• Accurately maintain patient medical records
• Assist providers with office procedures
• Other clinical and administrative tasks assigned by manager
