Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced restaurant manager to join our team. We are a small family run restaurant with two locations in Franklin County, MA. We have been in business for about 4 years. We are a family run business serving Latin American food. We are looking for someone who can help build upon and expand our already existing business. We have great food and a great reputation but could use an experienced partner to help our business grow and thrive. This is an opportunity for a motivated and experienced individual to help support a family run business and to get in on the ground floor of a great opportunity. There is huge untapped potential for this business to profit with the right leadership. We would be open to giving a portion of the business to a manager if they are the right fit.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff management
  • Manage inventory control to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing waste and controlling costs
  • Supervise and train staff on food handling, customer service, Square POS, and safety procedures
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health regulations to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling procedures and shift reconciliation
  • Lead hiring processes by interviewing candidates and onboarding new team members
  • Coordinate shift management to ensure smooth service during busy hours, including casual dining, quick service, or fine dining settings
  • Implement training & development programs to enhance team skills and improve overall restaurant performance
  • Monitor food production quality, manage kitchen operations, and support culinary staff in maintaining high standards
  • Assist with budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting to meet business goals
  • Foster a positive hospitality environment that emphasizes excellent customer service and team collaboration

Skills

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management within a quick service or fast food restaurant environment
  • Expertise in inventory control, food safety practices, and food handling regulations
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience in hospitality or restaurant management roles
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues promptly and professionally
  • Experience in managing staff training & development programs to build a motivated team
  • Competence in shift management, budgeting, cash handling, and food production processes
  • Familiarity with catering services, banquet operations or hotel experience is a plus
  • Strong communication skills coupled with the ability to interview candidates effectively
  • Some skill speaking Spanish would be helpful

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $57, $69,368.51 per year

Expected hours: 15 – 45 per week
