School Based Speech Language Pathologist

OVERVIEW

Hide and Speak Therapeutic Services is seeking a motivated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at a Philadelphia charter school located in the 19140 area. This is a part-time, school-based position serving middle and high school students with a variety of communication needs.

Position Overview:
The SLP will provide direct and consultative speech-language services in accordance with students' IEPs, collaborate with school staff and families, and support students in accessing their academic curriculum through improved communication skills.

Responsibilities Include:

• Providing speech-language therapy services to middle and high school students
• Conducting evaluations and participating in eligibility determinations as needed
• Developing, implementing, and monitoring IEP goals
• Writing progress reports and maintaining compliant documentation
• Collaborating with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers
• Participating in IEP meetings and school-based team meetings as required

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid Pennsylvania SLP license (and PDE certification)
• ASHA CCCs preferred
• Experience in a school-based setting
• Strong communication and organizational skills
