Position Overview: The Packaging Premedia Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of packaging premedia projects. They are responsible for ensuring the successful execution of projects, meeting client requirements, and delivering high-quality packaging Production Art. Pre Press, & 3D, within specified timelines and budgets. This role requires strong project management skills, excellent organizational abilities, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Initiation- Define project scopes, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements
  • Collaborate with clients, sales teams, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, objectives, timelines and deliverables.
  • Proactively communicate risks and potential issues to stakeholders, seeking their input and involvement in risk mitigation plans.
  • Project Execution and Timeline Monitoring, addressing any deviations or obstacles that may impact project timelines or deliverables
  • Assign tasks to team members and provide clear instructions, ensuring understanding and accountability.
  • Resource Management:
  • Identify and allocate appropriate resources, including designers, prepress specialists, and other team members, based on project requirements.
  • Coordinate with resource managers to ensure availability and timely allocation of resources.
  • Enforce quality control processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines in packaging premedia deliverables.
  • Conduct regular quality checks to identify and resolve any issues related to design files, color accuracy, print specifications, and technical requirements.
  • Work closely with the prepress team to ensure print-ready files are error-free and optimized for production.
  • Communication and Collaboration:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding project updates, status, and issue resolution.
  • Risk Management:
  • Project Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, schedules, status reports, and meeting minutes.
  • Prepare regular project status reports, highlighting progress, issues, risks, and key metrics.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities to optimize project management processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Seek feedback from team members and stakeholders to identify lessons learned and implement process improvements for future projects.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to packaging premedia and project management.
  • Timely attention to administrative roles such as estimating and final client invoicing

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40, $70,000.00 per year
