Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- Must possess and provide written proof of at least a High School Diploma or
equivalent (GED or HiSET). A Bachelor's Degree in a related field is always
preferred. - Must be able to obtain and maintain Louisiana Behavior Analyst Board (LBAB)
registered line technician certification (to be paid by employer upon hire). - Obtain and maintain certifications for CPR and BLS (to be paid by employer upon
hire). - Possess a valid (not expired) driver's license.
- Demonstrate passion and patience for working with young children.
- Exhibit strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to lift and carry clients.
- Must be able to sit on the floor and stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to maintain a variety of stances (stand, kneel, crawl, squat) for an
extended time. - Must be able to run for short distances.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must demonstrate manual dexterity to type, use electronic devices, and
manipulate small items such as toys. - Must have the visual acuity to read and comprehend written and electronic
communication.
