In this fast-paced role, you will be responsible for accurately picking customer orders from warehouse shelves, packing them securely for shipment, and ensuring all items are correctly processed. Your efficiency and attention to detail directly impact our customer satisfaction and the overall success of our distribution operations. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations based on order sheets or scanning devices.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages with correct shipping information and documentation.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse cleanliness.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Meet or exceed productivity and accuracy targets.
- Assist with inventory checks and stock put-away as needed.
- Understand the importance of timely order fulfillment in the logistics process.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned, which may include lifting items up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to read order sheets and use scanning equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Good physical stamina for standing, walking, and performing repetitive tasks.
- Experience with safe lifting techniques and adherence to PPE guidelines.
- Basic understanding of inventory and logistics principles.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
