We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Phoenix, Arizona. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your primary duties will involve loading and unloading trailers, transporting materials between different areas of the warehouse, and ensuring accurate inventory counts. You will be expected to perform daily inspections of the forklift equipment to ensure it is in good working order and report any mechanical issues immediately. Adherence to all safety regulations and company policies is paramount. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. The ideal candidate will have proven experience operating various types of forklifts, a valid forklift certification, and a keen eye for detail. You will be required to wear appropriate PPE at all times, including safety shoes, high-visibility vests, and hard hats as needed. This role involves significant physical activity, including frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, punctual, and possess excellent communication skills to coordinate with other team members and supervisors.
