Your role will encompass a variety of crucial tasks, including receiving and stocking merchandise, picking and packing customer orders, and preparing items for shipment. This position requires physical stamina, as you will be involved in tasks requiring frequent lifting and movement throughout the warehouse. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and accurately stock incoming inventory.
- Pick customer orders efficiently using scanners or pick lists.
- Pack orders securely and accurately for shipment.
- Stage orders for carrier pickup and ensure proper documentation.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
- Support overall logistics and warehouse efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or general labor role is beneficial.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, and bending for extended periods.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with logistics operations is a plus.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
