We are looking for motivated Picker/Packers to join our bustling warehouse in Orlando, Florida. In this role, you will be instrumental in fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently. Your primary responsibility will be to pick items from warehouse shelves and meticulously pack them for shipment. This is a fast-paced position that requires speed, accuracy, and a commitment to quality. You will work as part of a dedicated team to ensure that our customers receive their orders promptly and correctly, contributing directly to our company's success in the e-commerce logistics landscape.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations using order sheets or scanning devices.
- Inspect picked items for damage or discrepancies before packing.
- Efficiently pack products into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring items are secure and protected.
- Apply shipping labels and necessary documentation to packages.
- Operate packing equipment, such as tape machines and shrink wrap machines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe packing station and work area.
- Meet daily picking and packing performance targets.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, including proper Lifting techniques and the use of PPE.
- Communicate any issues or challenges encountered during the picking or packing process to supervisors.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, contributing to overall logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse environment is beneficial.
- Ability to read and understand order details and item numbers.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and operate various warehouse equipment.
- Must be able to perform frequent Lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Knowledge of basic safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and order fulfillment processes.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
