Our dynamic logistics company is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory records, ensuring that all stock levels are precisely managed. You will conduct regular cycle counts, perform physical inventories, and investigate discrepancies to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of inventory management principles and experience with warehouse management systems (WMS). You will work closely with receiving, shipping, and operations teams to ensure seamless inventory flow. Adherence to all safety protocols and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is paramount. This role may involve Lifting up to 50 pounds on occasion.
