We are seeking a reliable and energetic Material Handler to join our warehouse team in Orlando, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks that support the efficient flow of materials through our logistics operations. This includes receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. A strong commitment to Safety, accuracy, and productivity is essential. You will work closely with other warehouse staff to ensure that orders are processed correctly and efficiently, contributing directly to our supply chain success. This position involves physical activity and requires the ability to perform tasks efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials and shipments.
- Sort, stock, and organize materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders accurately according to shipping lists.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory counts and stock checks.
- Perform tasks requiring regular Lifting of materials (up to 40 lbs).
- Support the overall logistics and operations of the warehouse.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting, bending, and standing.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse operations and Safety practices.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
- Understanding of basic logistics concepts is a plus.
- Commitment to a Safe work environment.
