We are looking for a meticulous Inventory Clerk to join our Jacksonville, Florida team. This role is essential for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory, which is fundamental to our overall logistics operations. As an Inventory Clerk, you will be responsible for conducting cycle counts, reconciling inventory discrepancies, tracking stock movements, and ensuring that our inventory management system is up-to-date. You will work closely with warehouse staff and management to identify and resolve any inventory-related issues. A keen eye for detail, organizational skills, and a proactive approach are crucial. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.
- Track and document all inventory movements, including receipts, shipments, and adjustments.
- Maintain accurate inventory records within the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Identify and report damaged or obsolete stock.
- Assist with receiving and put-away processes to ensure proper inventory handling.
- Generate inventory reports for management review.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Collaborate with warehouse personnel to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in inventory control or a related warehouse role.
- Proficiency with inventory management software or WMS.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the use of PPE.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
