Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Worker in Detroit, Michigan! We are seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to support our busy logistics operations. This role is crucial for maintaining the smooth flow of goods and ensuring our warehouse runs efficiently. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including loading and unloading trucks, picking and packing orders, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment.
- Load and unload delivery trucks safely and efficiently.
- Receive and process incoming inventory, ensuring proper documentation.
- Organize and maintain warehouse stock, including inventory counts and cycle checks.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Perform general housekeeping duties to keep the warehouse clean and orderly.
- Assist with inventory management and stocktaking as required.
- Must be capable of consistent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous warehouse or general labor experience preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and crouch for extended periods. Willingness to wear required PPE. Strong work ethic and reliability are essential. Experience with warehouse management systems is a plus. Understanding of basic Safety procedures. Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime. This is a physically demanding role requiring regular Lifting.
