We are looking for a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. This position is essential for the efficient movement of materials throughout our logistics facility. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for safely operating various types of forklifts to load and unload trucks, move pallets, and transport goods within the warehouse. A strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE, is paramount. We require individuals with a proven track record of safe operation and excellent attention to detail. You will work closely with other warehouse staff and supervisors to ensure smooth operations and timely order fulfillment. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials.
- Transport goods to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Conduct pre-operation checks on forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Stack and organize inventory accurately and safely.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
- Follow established lifting guidelines for non-forklift related tasks.
Qualifications:
Valid forklift operator certification. Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Strong understanding of warehouse logistics and safety protocols. Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to safety and the use of required PPE.
