Join our team as a Warehouse Worker in Milwaukee, Wisconsin! We're seeking dependable individuals to contribute to the efficient operations of our distribution facility. Your responsibilities will span various aspects of warehouse management, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping. This role is a cornerstone of our logistics operations, ensuring the smooth flow of goods. We are committed to providing a safe work environment and expect all employees to strictly follow safety procedures and utilize necessary PPE. The position requires physical stamina and the ability to manage regular lifting tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and verify incoming inventory against purchase orders.
- Stock merchandise into appropriate warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders.
- Pack orders with care, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, applying correct labels and documentation.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely (certification may be required/provided).
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of all warehouse areas.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in reconciling discrepancies.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and the mandatory use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational targets in logistics.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is beneficial.
- Ability to perform consistent lifting of products up to 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Capacity to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to PPE requirements.
