We are looking for a dedicated Fulfillment Associate to join our busy e-commerce warehouse in Sacramento, California. As a Fulfillment Associate, you will be a critical component of our logistics chain, responsible for processing customer orders efficiently and accurately. Your duties will include picking items from shelves, packing them securely for shipment, and preparing orders for dispatch. This role demands a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will contribute directly to customer satisfaction by ensuring that orders are fulfilled correctly and on time. Maintaining a clean and safe work area is also a key responsibility. We prioritize safety and expect all team members to follow established protocols and utilize appropriate PPE.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on order fulfillment requirements.
- Pack items using appropriate materials to ensure safe transit.
- Verify order details and product information for accuracy.
- Label packages correctly and prepare them for shipping carriers.
- Conduct quality control checks on outgoing orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks when needed.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counting.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to logistics and warehouse operations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily order fulfillment goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or similar role is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand order tickets and product information.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, such as safety vests and gloves.
- Basic understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
