This role requires certification and demonstrated proficiency in operating reach trucks in a busy logistics environment. Responsibilities:
- Operate reach trucks safely and efficiently to move palletized loads.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper placement of goods.
- Put away and retrieve inventory from high racking systems.
- Conduct pre-operation checks on the reach truck to ensure safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and report any discrepancies.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and utilize required PPE.
- Assist with physical inventory counts and other warehouse tasks as needed.
- Operate other material handling equipment as required.
- Ensure product is handled carefully to prevent damage.
- Valid certification and proven experience operating a reach truck.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when necessary.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and the use of PPE.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Punctual and reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
