Join our bustling warehouse in Kansas City, Missouri, as an Order Picker! This critical role ensures that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You will be responsible for accurately picking items from shelves and storage locations based on order sheets or electronic pick lists, preparing them for packing and shipment. A keen eye for detail, efficiency, and a commitment to safety are essential. You will operate order picking equipment, such as pallet jacks or order pickers, and must be comfortable with regular lifting and movement throughout your shift. We maintain a strong focus on workplace safety, requiring all employees to use appropriate PPE and follow established safety procedures. - Accurately picking products according to customer order specifications.
- Using RF scanners to track inventory and confirm picks.
- Organizing picked items for packing and staging.
- Operating order picking equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Adhering to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE and safe lifting practices.
- Collaborating with team members to achieve daily picking goals.
- Assisting with other warehouse duties as needed, such as receiving or stocking.
- Participating in regular inventory cycle counts.
- Contributing to a positive and productive team environment.
