We are seeking a diligent Material Handler to join our fast-paced logistics team in San Francisco, California. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth flow of materials throughout our warehouse. You will be responsible for moving, organizing, and preparing materials for shipment and receiving. Key duties include operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. You will also assist with inventory management, ensuring items are correctly stored and accounted for. A strong emphasis is placed on safety; you must adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe Lifting practices. The ideal candidate is reliable, has excellent attention to detail, and works well in a dynamic team environment. Experience with various material handling equipment is highly desirable. Responsibilities:
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
- Move, sort, and stage materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and accurately.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintain organization of stock.
- Ensure all materials are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Adhere to strict safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Follow proper Lifting techniques to prevent injury.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily logistics objectives.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Report any equipment issues or safety concerns promptly.
