Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading materials from trucks.
- Moving materials to and from storage areas.
- Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment (training provided if necessary).
- Verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Stocking materials in designated locations.
- Picking orders accurately for shipment.
- Preparing materials for shipping, including packaging and labeling.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assisting with inventory counts and checks.
- Performing routine checks on material handling equipment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting, up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of inventory management principles.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime.
- Commitment to workplace Safety.
