We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Worker to join our team in San Jose, California. In this vital role, you will contribute to the efficiency and accuracy of our Logistics operations by managing the flow of goods within our facility. Responsibilities include receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping items. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of warehouse procedures, a commitment to Safety, and the physical ability to handle frequent Lifting. You will play a key part in maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring timely order fulfillment. We emphasize the importance of using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adhering to all established Safety guidelines. This position requires a proactive individual with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently receiving, inspecting, and stocking incoming inventory.
- Accurately picking and packing orders for shipment according to customer requirements.
- Preparing shipments for dispatch, including proper labeling and documentation.
- Maintaining inventory records and participating in cycle counts.
- Operating material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
- Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Adhering to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assisting with Loading and unloading of trucks.
- Identifying and resolving any discrepancies or damages promptly.
- Collaborating with team members to meet operational targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting, up to 70 lbs., regularly.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse Safety regulations and best practices.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team.
- Good communication skills.
- A commitment to workplace Safety is essential.
