We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our dynamic logistics team in Boise, Idaho. The Material Handler will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the warehouse. This role is crucial to our supply chain operations, ensuring that inventory is accurately tracked, stored, and prepared for distribution. You will be working in a fast-paced environment that requires strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety protocols. Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading materials from trucks and other conveyances.
- Moving materials to and from storage areas, production areas, or other designated locations within the warehouse.
- Using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to transport goods.
- Verifying the quantity and type of materials received or shipped against documentation.
- Properly storing materials to ensure accessibility and prevent damage.
- Maintaining an organized and clean work area.
- Adhering to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assisting with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Reporting any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
- Performing other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a material handling or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Safety best practices in a warehouse setting.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
