In this role, you will be essential in ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and efficiently. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately select items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications, preparing them for packing and shipment. This position requires a keen eye for detail, speed, and accuracy. We prioritize the safety of our employees, and strict adherence to all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is expected. The role involves significant walking and frequent lifting, so a good level of physical fitness is beneficial. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Verify product codes, quantities, and descriptions against order details.
- Transport picked items to the packing station or staging area.
- Maintain a clean and organized picking path and work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Meet or exceed established picking productivity and accuracy targets.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, such as replenishment or stocking.
- Participate in inventory control activities, such as cycle counting.
- Contribute to a positive and safe team environment.
- Ensure the integrity of all orders picked.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 40 lbs, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and scanning technology is a plus.
- A commitment to excellence in logistics operations.
