We are looking for an energetic and efficient Order Picker to join our warehouse team in Kansas City, Missouri. In this critical role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from inventory to fulfill customer orders. Your attention to detail and speed will directly impact customer satisfaction and the efficiency of our Logistics operations. Tasks include locating items using pick lists or scanners, carefully gathering products, and preparing them for the packing station. We prioritize Safety above all else, and all team members are required to adhere to strict safety protocols and utilize the provided PPE . This position involves significant walking and requires the ability to perform tasks involving Lifting of items up to 40 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Locate and retrieve products from designated warehouse locations.
- Verify picked items against order requirements.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Adhere to all Safety procedures and guidelines.
- Operate pallet jacks or other material handling equipment as needed.
- Support overall warehouse Logistics flow.
- Wear and utilize all required PPE .
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehousing is preferred.
- Ability to navigate the warehouse and locate items efficiently.
- Proficiency in Lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Commitment to workplace Safety .
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to wear required PPE .
- Understanding of warehouse Logistics is a plus.
