Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick and pack orders based on customer requirements and shipment schedules.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required), safely.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness throughout the warehouse, adhering to safety standards.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety vests and footwear.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
- Practice safe lifting techniques when handling materials.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a strong asset.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Willingness to learn and operate various warehouse equipment.
- Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to all safety procedures.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic understanding of inventory control principles is beneficial.
