Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order documents or electronic pick lists.
- Use RF scanners or other technology to track inventory and order progress.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Transport picked items to packing or staging areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including personal workspace.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Meet established productivity standards for order picking.
- Perform regular quality checks on picked items.
- Assist with cycle counting and inventory verification as needed.
- Follow proper techniques for lifting and handling products to prevent injury.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Capability to handle lifting up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual attendance is crucial.
- Willingness to comply with all safety rules and regulations.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory systems is a plus.
