Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to order specifications.
- Utilize handheld scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory.
- Ensure the correct items and quantities are selected.
- Package items securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping goals.
- Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and prevent errors.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment in a safe manner.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking/packing role is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Willingness to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety vests and gloves.
- Must be able to handle moderate lifting, up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Understanding of safety procedures in a logistics environment is beneficial.
